The European Commission launched in 2015 the Horizon Prize on Materials for Clean Air, a €3 million prize to reduce the concentration of particulate matter in cities.
The submission of applications for the Prize is now open, and the deadline is January 23, 2018.
Particulate matter is the air pollutant which has the most severe impact on citizens' health! Europe needs creative solutions to address this major challenge.
The winner needs to develop an innovative and well-designed material solution to reduce the concentration of particulate matter in the air in urban environments. Individuals, organisations, teams of people and/or organisations from EU and Associated Countries are eligible to apply.
