ASCENT Research Accelerator Programme for PhD students
3rd Call – Tyndall National Institute – Ireland
Tuesday 24th – Thursday 26th April 2018
“Nanoelectronics Fabrication & Characterisation”
Introduction:
ASCENT provides easy access to state-of-the-art nanoelectronics facilities at imec in Belgium, CEA-Leti in France and Tyndall in Ireland.The Research Accelerator Programme gives PhD students an on-site introduction to the technology available in the three partner sites. This will give students a clear insight into how they can use ASCENT to accelerate their own research.
Third Call:
PhD students are invited to apply to visit Tyndall National Institute in Ireland where they will be introduced to the ASCENT access programme and attend advanced training in Reliability & Defects in Advanced Technologies, from Theory to practice.
How to apply:
An Application Form and CV should be submitted through the ASCENT web site before: Friday 23rd February 2018.
Results will be circulated & winners informed on Monday 12th March 2018.
What is covered?
ASCENT will support training and travel/subsistence costs.
Eligibility: Registered PhD students are eligible to apply for one course outside their own country.
