Today, a new European research project developing the new generation of photovoltaic solar cells based on perovskite is being launched in Brussels. The APOLO project received a 5M€ grant from European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme to develop flexible perovskite solar cells that are reliable, fully printable, with an efficiency of 22% and with 90% of performance after aging tests.
Elvira Fortunato, Professora Catedrática da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (NOVA), Vice-Reitora da NOVA e Directora do Centro de Investigação de Materiais do Laboratório Associado i3N acaba de obter a segunda Advanced Grant do ERC (Conselho Europeu de Investigação (ERC, na sigla em inglês)) no valor de 3,5 M€, a maior bolsa de sempre atribuída a um investigador português e a maior atribuída pela ERC nesta Call em a que concorreram mais de 2160 investigadores a nível mundial.
