Deneb received her PhD degree in Physics in 2015 from Yildiz Technical University-Istanbul, Turkey. Her thesis was based on silicon heterojunction (HIT) solar cells. After her doctoral studies she started to work on organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells. Currently, she is focused on fabricating perovskite solar cells with different configurations for several applications such as Perovskite/Silicon tandem solar cells and Colloidal Quantum-Dot Intermediate Band solar cells (CQD-IBSCs) based in perovskite host materials with light trapping structures (photonics) to attain high power conversion efficiency and high stability.
